PLC: HOW IT WORKS

PLC stands for Powerline Communications, a technology that allows the use of electricity distribution network as a transmission medium not only for energy but also for information.

Using Cactel PLC technology, virtually any information suited to be digitized can be sent over the power line: data, images, voice, video, control signals, etc. No new cabling is needed for such task and any socket in any room can be used as a communications port.
